Let the fun begin!! The Beginners  Course introduces you to the basic techniques of playing a djembe (African hand drum) and the fundamentals of rhythm and drumming.

Over the 8 week course you will learn to play many basic and upbeat rhythms taught in a fun and easy way. No experience is necessary to attend this course and this is a great opportunity to embark on a new journey together with other members of your community. Drums are supplied each class but if you have your own djembe drum you can bring it along.

At the end of the Course you have the opportunity to join us in the Drumbala Student Drum Circle where families and friends come together for a fun filled experience with the power rhythm.
